Hello!
I’m a first-year graduate student in the Professional and Technical Communication M.A. at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. I have a B.A. in English from the University of Texas at Tyler, near my hometown of Longview, Texas.
My passion for technical communication stretches all the way to my very first job as a veterinary assistant. Here, I found fulfillment in creating Standard Operating Procedures and helping my teammates find the best, most efficient way to help our patients. My love for the field grew even more as I pursued my Bachelor’s degree, and I entered the M.A. program at UNT in Fall 2024.
I am dedicated to finding the best way to communicate ideas, whether that’s through exploring different forms of media or getting the whole team together to brainstorm. I am eager to gain experience in an organization that values the importance of communication and wants to work as a team to meet our goals.
